I don't lol. If I had to spend hours everyday trying to find a woman who is looking for love and not a good fuck then I'd have gone insane and shot some place up years ago.

I'm jot a Trump fan. You think it's going to be fun? We're fucked either way but I'd rather see the world burn than have a slow death with the WEF.

If he ends up killing all these oligarchs I'm grabbing popcorn. Zuckerberg already has a plan to go to Hawaii.

It's real.

How the FUCK do you meet girls looking for serious long term relationships?
I know literally no one (who isn't already married) who is looking for anything other than casual sex or quick flings. It's honestly kind of disgusting.

Sometimes I wish Hawthorne would've just been an essayist instead. Stuff like The Old Manse doesn't just rival, but surpasses Emerson. At times he reminds me of a sort of American Goethe. It's sad that most people nowadays only know him for The Scarlet Letter.

McLuhan was pretty fucking pessimistic about the direction shit was going in; he was just good at packaging it in a way that dumb boomers thought was "far out" without actually really reflecting on.

If she's a woman she's already a ho, then you just need to get her in to reading. Id recommend hairy potter or twilight for a dumb femoid

In Hrafnkels saga the protagonist Hrafnkell loses all of his property, has his temple burnt to the ground and his favourite horse pushed over the cliff, but he eventually becomes very successful again and takes revenge on the man that did that to him

Every post has "swap"-a comment by ThatAnimeSnob

That guy probably lurks here, so hello ThatAnimeSnob.

For those who don't know, it's 10K Brtisih Tuber who does awful reviews, he also reviewed every vintage hentai on animeDB. He has extremely bad taste.

I love the Everyman classics so much. One of the few sets of publishing that actually feel nice in the hand with sewn bindings, look nice in the shelf, and aren’t faux “vintage” like Easton press/penguin classics

This is an humility problem. You just haven't been fucked up by the consequences of your reckless behavior enough yet to understand why it's better not to do those things.
Humility, and gratitude. I'm not necessarily calling you arrogant. More like, ignorant, innocent.

I'm talking general high IQ, not dedicated intellectuals with visionary ideals. I dont see why having high IQ should mean a person should become less morally ambigious than the average person, or be less tempted into corruption himself.

>>23322093
That goes for everyone. It's not a "curse of the high IQ".

I liked Young Goodman Brown and read Hawthorne's biography for a book report and those were good. The Scarlet Letter in brief sounds like the most awful book ever written but knowing the author a little better, I suspect it might be good
