my issue isn't the premise but the solution. the indo-european religions, after you remove their corruptions that have tainted them over the millennium, do provide the true meta-narrative, the sophia perennis. the creation of relative truths just seems to further break down the existing meta-narrative, acting as a catalyst for the "true" one to re-emerge; which is basically what post structuralism has been doing.

i'm almost done reading "genealogy of morals" and am 277 out of 400ish pages in "zarathustra," and holy fuck this guy is cringe. he makes some good points critiquing abrahamic religions, scholars, the concept of the last man is great, etc, but holy fuck this guy is repetitive as fuck. i feel like zarathustra could have been shortened to about 50 pages or so and had gotten across all the information needed.

this guy really does reek of being an autistic incel that orbited a slut throughout italy, only to get repeatedly rejected - probably because he is.
