I remember reading a story about how a composer sent Bob Dylan’s agent his work for years, but the agent only ever passed it on to Bob Dylan who stole the musical ideas.

Bob Dylan was a noted plagiarist. Whenever his agent rejected queries from others, he would take the lyrics and share them with Bob Dylan.

I really enjoyed this story. It really transports to you a world of bounteous light close to Ahura Mazda. I am currently writing an original story inspired by it.

I genuinely hope he experiences an excruciating death. I am not a violent man, but I would love to watch someone like him be tortured. I hate how random innocent civilians are attacked, like "Three Guys, 1 Hammer", but I would love to watch some disgusting Jew like Ben Shapiro be mutilated. I have a demon in me too... I have a demon in me too. I salivate sometimes just wanting to watch the ears, hands, nose, etc. of someone like Ben Shapiro just chopped up. Ooh... I need to talk a nap.

It is precisely because I find life meaningful that I promote antinatalism. I won't kill myself because I know my life to be meaningful.

My library is a work in progress. I am only working to where I have picture books + children's literature on one-side and horror and weird fiction on another side. I do not like reading anything outside of this spenta-angra duality.

Doesn't both Buddhism and Hinduism have the "narakas", which is pretty much like hell?

I also recommend Kenneth Grahame's The Reluctant Dragon.

>the higher beings do not know of such things as evil, sin, ignorance etc.
However, wouldn't you likewise agree the lower beings do not know of such things as goodness, charity, wisdom etc.?
>I also don't believe in either omniscience, omnipotence or omnipresence. I
I agree.
>I believe in reincarnation to the point where you 'pass the line' and achieve the higher existence
But depending on the individual, wouldn't some "pass the line" and drop to a lower existence?

Good list. I am glad it has Aickman, Machen, Blackwood, Ligotti, Lovecraft, Evenson, and Poe. However, I do not like Reza Negarestani's prose. It would have made more sense to add Sadegh Hedayat's Blind Owl instead.

Toot and Puddle series by Holly Hobbie
Brambly Hedge by Jill Barklem
The Adventures of Beekle by Dan Santat
A House in the Woods by Inga Moore

I could recommend more, but I think that is enough for now.

Read high-quality children's literature or picture books and transpose your sense of self into them. "Become" the artwork of light temporarily as you immerse into it. Afterwards, try to bring as much "light" as you can from such artwork into your own life (e.g., donating to humane societies, starting a nice garden, etc.)

I think a lot of things come down to preferences and one's own goals. However, unlike Schopenhauer, I believe the thing-in-itself (noumenon) to be fundamentally a dualistic struggle.

My own particular mystical views are inspired by both Zarathustra's Gathas and various Buddhist sutras.

My view is that one should heavily immerse his mind in both artwork of light + darkness and to choose the former. However, it is necessary to know both deeply. Artwork of spenta expresses the light of generosity, wisdom, loving-kindness, and other positive qualities, which emanates from Ahura Mazda in the higher realms. Artwork of angra expresses the darkness of greed, hatred, delusion, and other negative qualities, which emanates from Ahriman in the lower realms. They are in continuous struggle.

Well, I am a Saoshyant and offer one viable path towards Asha.

I have had powerful religious experiences after reading both Zoroastrian and Buddhist texts. Nothing from the Abrahamic traditions moved me. What led to strong religious experiences from me was reading high-quality children's literature AND horror stories. I found the light of Ahura Mazda in picture books and the darkness of Ahriman in horror stories. Afterwords, I received messages from both Ahura Mazda and Ahriman in "dreams". They were not quite like dreams but more akin to "transporting" me somewhere that gave great metaphysical messages.

If you want to follow my path, I recommend finding the most wholesome, beautiful picture books and also the most decadent, disturbing horror stories. Read them side-to-side and let the duality consume you.

I can feel Ahura Mazda's light in this:

I can feel Ahriman's darkness in this:

It is essential to understand both but tailor your life to the former. This is called Asha.

In my opinion, one reason people are no longer happy is they reject the reality of moral dualism. To make this example clearer, I recommend the picture book Little Beaver and the Echo. Understand how such a picture book is Spenta Mainyu manifested.

It is important to understand the nature of both Ahura Mazda's light and Ahriman's darkness in life while privileging the former.

This. Schopenhauer was not a sadist the way Marquis de Sade was. To make this point, Schopenhauer would look at this image with great grief and encourage compassion and ascetism instead. However, Maquis de Sade would jerk off to this image and say he wants more.

I, myself, am more like a dualistic Schopenhauer. I am not really a monist, but I do agree with the ascetic and even antinatalist sensibilities of Schopenhauer.

I recommend Lautremont's Maldoror and Hanns Heinz Ewers' Sorceror's Apprentice because you said, "Nothing can interest me unless it contains a couple of murders on each page or deals with the horrors unnameable and unaccountable..."

However, it is important to also understand the light, no matter how frail it is. Reading high quality picture books or children's literature like Moomins can also point to the light of Ohrmazd.
