According to that video's logic, we should all aspire to be like whoever is getting the most attention from females

Gnosticism seems to posit Sophia as a pretty important figure for wisdom. Idk if women are as good judges as the video seems to imply.

Bullfinch. Hamilton is a filthy modernist and has an abhorrent understanding of the realities of analytical psychology.

Does it seem like baby-faced angels hold a strong presence in today's world? Jesus' Logos may as well have turned out to be a 14 inch demon cock.

I got an email from FCR collection services telling me I owed Barnes and Noble money for failing to return a textbook, but I disputed it b/ the book was listed twice for me to owe them. They sent me a cryptic email saying my "disputed claim was cancelled," and that "FCR Collections will not pursue any further collection efforts on the above referenced account. Please contact the Client (B&N) directly with any further questions regarding this account."

WTF does this mean? My FCR account still lists that I owe money. Are they trying to psyche me out? Am I in the clear? Wtf? I was prepared to pay for the book once, but it was bullshit that they wanted money for my book twice.

Alexandros was a shithead with a oneitis. Despite being Zeus' daughter Helen lacked any willpower whatsoever to change the direction of her life because everything was provided to her. I guess you could argue that none of the characters had any responsibility for any of their actions since the Gods did it all but that's a cop out answer.

Wissenschaft = mine shaft knowledge = science

A thin, long, narrow knowledge, atomistic extension of the senses, the particulars, the external unknown, the unbegotten uniformity and the inverse of Kant's project

philosophy = love of wisdom = the soul, the humanness in your hearts, the modalies, the control, the motives and the intent

That which maximizes the Good. This is not necessarily a consequalistic statement since Deontological conditions may in fact maximize the Good.

Of course it doesn’t necessarily— life is more absurd than rationalist foundationalism. God the Father must be a Saturnalian device to inhibit so much confrontation with a person’s own fate, which ironically does nothing to avoid fate regardless.

It’s interesting though that women pay more attention to their appearance, despite it being fake— “appearance” in the “true” way requires displaying one’s social economy, private wealth, physical traits, and so on. The book was honestly pretty interesting and seemed like an accurate portrayal of conventional marriage dynamics.

Bullshit. 6/10 Tim doesn’t just take whatever woman comes her way. Comparability depends certainly on things not relating to a purely materialistic account of humanity. We have personalities and political opinions and religious beliefs and identifications with all variety of things.

I'm actually really happy I skimmed through that little book because it affirmed that I'm not on the traditionalist/fascist/Chr*stian side of the equation. I go to a very small Christian school and I became an officer of a philosophy club and the leader wants to study feminism all semester long so we may hopefully break new ground. :)
