It's the long term, not the the short term. If you never go to a 2-3 day music festival with some buddies and meet a bunch of people and trip seeing all those good bands, you have missed one of the best experiences one can go through on this Earth. Just, don't go on tour and do that all summer, or take those drugs when you go see those same bands at bars or wherever. That's all.
