Okay guys let's turn this into a serious discussion. I don't wanna talk about trip because how could you judge it if you haven't read it but i get a lot of stick for my novels on this board, despite being widely acknowledged as one of the most interesting and talented writers of our time.

Make good arguments as to why my books aren't great and i will try to refute them.

Definitely not a Taoist concept. At least not in early Taoism. Everything gets fucked when philosophy becomes religion so I don't refer to that when I refer to Taoism. But yes I suppose when it comes to things that are objectively true or untrue, such as whether or not an immortal soul exists, there is wrong and right in philosophy. Far be it from me to make such a distinction but when it comes to such things I take that as apart from the philosophy, as inextricably tied as they can be. There's no way to truly know the answer to such things, I consider the philosophy of the question to be the starting propositions on which the argument is based and the subsequent manner in which in which the argument is delivered. Any portion that can be declared either objectively correct or incorrect I consider to be a separate science belonging to whatever field it most naturally fits
