>nofap: more shows of attraction and general horniness from women
>daily fap: more respect and general friendliness from men

I've been trying to falsify this for years but I never do. Do you get similar experiences?

Ambiguous question. Can/do you want to see yourself giving a shit about other areas in life besides people with that unfolded clay comment or are you dead set on developing yourself as a people pro?

In case of the latter, what does it mean to you to care about people? What modus operandi do you think would give you the biggest psychological reward, where do you see the most subjective value if you were to invest your time in that area?

If you like observing people and coming up with theories, there's everything from anthropology to psychology to descriptive ethics and metaethics.

If you're more of a hands on person the salvation army awaits you with open arms. Or you can set up a charity.

If you think you know what's best for everyone there's normative and applied ethics, politics.. I'm sure you can think of more.

Looking at the history of philosophy as people trying to one up each other for 3k years is beyond pleb anyways. That's some Ayn Rand tier shit.

Whereever your heart takes you desu. Start with something that intrigues you for the lowliest reasons, how to be an edgy cunt, whatever. Start with Stirner. You will probably interpret the Ego as nothing more than individualism taken to the Max. That's ok as long as you don't stop asking questions. Read the stanford wiki of philosophy on him, read a critical essay.. As long as you stay open to new ideas you will arrive sooner or later at Socrates and Kant anyways..

>If now I...say 'Stealing money is wrong', I produce a sentence which has no factual meaning -- that is, it expresses no proposition which can be either true or false. It is as if I had written 'Stealing money!!' -- where the shape and thickness of the exclamation marks show, by a suitable convention, that a special sort of moral disapproval is the feeling which is expressed. It is clear that there is nothing said here which can be true or false.

Sounds unorthodox perhaps but all I do is emulate pride and love (pic related) as often as I can throughout the day. Imagine, feel, intensify until I'm charged the fuck up. It works surprisingly well.

>But scientists didn’t want to stop there. They conducted a second experiment with 57 new participants and found the same results – the more vividly the participants could imagine the odors, the higher their BMI.
>the more vividly the participants could imagine the odors, the higher their BMI.

Maybe I'm on to something here. Maybe this is old news. Maybe this is nothing but "hyping" yourself up and falls under the same category as motivationals. Maybe I just have naturally high emotional intelligence which I neglected before. All I know is it works for me so far.

Haven't read Nietzsche enough to form an opinion 2bh but according to a lecture from Heidegger he was more concerned with overcoming progressivism in the traditional sense while Stirner was more of a general "can't define what I am dad" type of nigga. I think he would have shunned the Übermensch.

How to get over this euphoria every time I read five pages of any philosophical work? Literal euphoria, not fedora.. excited as fuck about life, head won't stop rushing with ideas, I can't get no sleep babe.. 4 AM here right now trying to calm down.

Going on long walks makes it even worse. Usually at that point I crash and burn and watch twitch or fap.

How do people even handle studying the greats like they are just processing data? Serious inquiry. Maybe I'm just born to feel I dunno. Didn't start reading yesterday.

Sometimes I enjoy the silence as well. Nothing to do with autism man.

Btw I don't understand why people always say listen to classical music. Only thing that would work for me is some really monotone renaissance/baroque piece like I hear on the radio sometimes. Everything else is far too distracting.
