If a nationwide mask mandate would save thousands of lives then we could have saved millions over the years with a nationwide mask mandate to protect against the flu and other illnesses. Why didnt anyone ever propose such a thing? I mean literally not a single person mentioned it

I am a math student. I want to do engineering because I have heard the job prospects for math students are low while engineers get a comfy job handed to them with a diploma.
But for some reason I can't switch.
I feel like i HAVE to do math or I will never be satisfied for the rest of my life. It's like an obsession, or on addiction, but I know it's not good for me. How can I convince my brain that engineering is the better career choice?
I've taken a couple engineering electives and hated them, but I'm convinced by the math "I'll take fries with that" posts that engineering is the right way to go.

How to prove that if [math]f : \mathbb{R} \to \mathbb{R}[/math] is invertible and [math]g : \mathbb{R} \to \mathbb{R}[/math] is invertible as well then [math]f \circ g[/math] is invertible, and how to find the inverse function?

Instead of
>logic
>real analysis
>etc.
Should analysis replace calculus?

Are you a realist or an agnostic with regards to unobservable entities whose existence is postulated by theoretical sciences?
