Why the fuck are we concentrating on getting to mars WHEN A GIANT FUCKING ASTEROID COULD DESTROY US ALL AT ANY MOMENT. The only man in the world that has the power to actually invest in proper asteroid detection, and he wastes it all way to get to faggy little mars to interact with gay little martians.
What the fuck is wrong with people? Why does no one care that an asteroid could destroy us at any moment?

i am one of those people that looked up to elon musk, i expected him to be respected in this board but it seems like everyone here hates him. normies labeled him as the real iron man. i read somewhere that he said he worked 80 hours a week, but in another place it says that it is actually tesla workers that work that many hours. so my question is why is he hated? is he not really a genius? is he more a business man than a physicist? and is he a fraud just like jordan peterson? and should people in general just stop looking up to celebrities and pop sci people like elon musk, michio kaku, neil degrasse tyson, and sean carroll? and instead look up to people well respected in the science community like grigori perelman, alan turing, einstein, godel, and von neumann?

Elon Musk says that he will land humans on Mars by 2025, but can he succeed?

But what if the problem we are faced with is the inability of humans to get humans into space as quickly as humans could?


For example, if humans become unable to get our asses onto the Moon. There would be enormous political consequences for humanity. If the Moon is not a viable destination for humans, then the possibility of humans getting their asses onto the Moon would vanish. Then what?


If we are unable to go to the Moon, we will be forced to stop the development and operation of space exploration and science.


If space exploration is stopped, then space exploration is stopped.


I believe Elon Musk might have a shot of going to the Moon. He is one of the bravest and best people I have met, and I have always been impressed by him, and his ability.
