Does anyone here on /sci/ work at a power plant of some sort??? What do you do if you work there? Would you recommend it? I might have a job lined up to work on boiling water reactors and was wondering what the general consensus is.

ok, i need you to do one thing for me. THINK. contingency is the name of the game. if we were to look at an infinite number of possible worlds, what would they have all in common? the answer is obviously meaning, and logic. wherever you go, 1+1 is going to be equivalent to 2. trying to edit such a theorem would inevitably alter the mathematical objects being referenced themselves, and thus we would be dealing with something different. that is what humours me whenever sub-150 iq schmucks ask retarded questions such as "why did the universe exist at all?". reality is inherently the things that exist in contrast to things that do not. nothing can't not exist. as such, a system of logical rules that'd manifest as our physical reality is going to manifest itself.

when you abstract the universe as a self-contained mathematical object, the results practically follow the definitions. nihilism is silly since meaning is inherent to the way our universe is structured.

fuck, i don't even need to go into the beginnings of the universe. if you aren't retarded, you would be able to see infocognition all around you. you are staring at it. your computer conforms to a certain syntax - information. your genes are information. the language you are reading this in is information. at the same time, it is obvious that that the universe processes itself as well. material objects conform to these structures.
