Nicotine (not tobacco) as a nootropic makes thinking/clarity better or worse? Do the positives outweigh the negatives for this drug?

Maybe. I enjoy nicotine, but I don't have the money or fake ID to fund a nicotine addiction, so I avoid using it much. Alcohol is better than nicotine, though.

How long do I have to go without nicotine for the cravings to go away? It's been ~3 months and I still want a cig/vape basically every day.

I can vouch heavily for phenylpiracetam and I've tried about half of that list. As far as racetams (that I've tried) goes, I'd rank them:
>phenylpiracetam
>fasoracetam or coluracetam (about equal)
>oxiracetam or aniracetam (about equal)
>noopept (not technically a racetam but commonly grouped together)
That's in regards to noticeable effects at least. I'm sure noopept would be higher overall.

try it and see. I recommend nicotine lozenges if you try nicotine at all. I recommend not taking nicotine at all. you could try vaping if you want. there are lots of ways to use nicotine without using tobacco. I quit using nicotine 4 months ago. good luck.

As someone with ADHD who has taken ritalin/concerta all their life and has never wanted to touch Adderall, why is it used and sought after more by non ADHD people as a nootropic? Wouldn't that overstimulate the fuck out of a normal person?

Try to be smoker, totally addicted and solving hard problem that takes more than a day, ciggaretes help, question is if you would be able to do that without them.

They may be nootropic and they can literally fuzz certain areas of your memory when you need something, but it's really hard question if that addiction is wroth it.

Addiction of which result may be you cannot thing clearly without it.

You could, but you don't.

And if somebody's getting you ACh antagonist and dopamine antagonist, it's actually that you're aware you would be IQ 60 monkey without this goddamn thing.

I highly doubt that addiction is wroth nootropic effect. Effect is just slight, and...

Maybe not combined with antipsychotics that are leaving black hole on those receptors it would be easy to quit, but I'm given literally no choice about my medication even choice to refuse it.

Therefore:

Don't start, you don't need it. It can have benefits, but they are possibly not wroth it.

Get addicted to chockolate instead, it's far much better but you don't feel insta effects after you do something with it.

Because a little bit of everything counts with nicotine, it's only ACh positive thing on your list, and there are plenty of aspects, you can literally get nootrpic effect in every part of your neural circuitry, to get more than desired result.

Unfortunately, for nothing in today's society you have to be that smart.

Actually there may be better strategies for living, than being highly intelligent, and also you must to use your brain in the way you want it work more.

Just aspect that you remember more shouldn't really help you in common life situations, because they're based on level you have already.

Actually things may become too easy or not kind of a challanging so you consider doing them.

You may see just overload of problems, that you will have with new income, etc.

It's not easy having more working brain, if you cannot control it properly.

GTS 21 could help with smoking, but I really don't have the idea of what helps you when you stop on that.

You'll be dumb... It'll be like your mind pallace is constructed for certain height, and after quiting a substance you won't see on the top shelf and won't be able to read it.

You'll be dumb and stuff you learned on nootropics never happened.
