Alzheimers falls under my field of research. Alzheimers makes up the majority of dementia, and dementia is assessed as costing $1 trillion a year globally. If biden wants to increase obama care, then he also wants to reduce alzheimers, since it would be more cost effective. In that regard I would lean towards believing him.

And similarly, for cancer and diabetes researching a "cure" is more cost effective. So I think he will do it
