Learn it by practicing problems and implementing papers

Great book, but focuses more on 'old school' AI. If you want to learn about more recent stuff, look up books on machine learning and deep learning.

No. AIMA focuses mostly on the agent-environment models, which is useful for control theory applications and not much else.

No, the best book is any given pdf of computational learning theory from a CS professor’s webpage

Might wanna wait for 2-3 months for the new edition to come out. It'll be the first content update in more than a decade.

Lol yes its a great book. My university used it. Although on some points it did become a bit dated I would say. For example I don't remember it going into detail about model explainability , or hybrid AI approaches. Though its great it covers more niche things like expert systems (which are still relevant since it allows great transparency). Was long ago already that I read it (and didn't read all of it just like 400 pages).

JUST READ THE MIT PRESS DEEP LEARNING BOOK FUCKTARDS MACHINE LEARNING IS THE ONLY MEANINGFUL BRANCH OF AI, AND DEEP LEARNING IS THE ONLY MEANINGFUL BRANCH OF MACHINE LEARNING
