Because even though we are in closed system, there is something pumping energy into the system from outside of it, at the zero point, known as the "black sun." The second law is always true in a closed system however the system is not always closed just like rain can add water to the pools closed plumbing system. This is a perfect analogy because the water can evaporate but imagine if you have water in tubes and it always flows the same direction, well this will always true in that system but what if you open a portal into that tube allowing water to flow into this previously closed system, well then it breaks that law
