I think I should just stop fooling myself and drop out of my STEM degree. Maybe I could take up a job in a car factory or something.

What do you think /sci/?

They all have one thing in common: hard work
Stop being lazy OP, don't fall for the

meme

Being a brainlet is a choice, not a life sentence.

Don't fall for the nurture vs. nature meme. Everyone are not born equal.
Trolling aside I think you should just finish your degree. High school math teacher is still better than being a filthy factory worker.

Yep. And what are they compared to Gauss, Euler, Einstein, Mochizuki, Tao?

It's all relative.

Why don't you man up and grow up, and ditch the childish attitude?

Thank me later.

The co-discoverer of DNA and another chap who won a Nobel prize had sub 130 IQ's.

Two nobel prize winners (one from physics) were denied entry to an elite educational school for having sub 135 IQ's. The school had IQ's ranging from 135 to 160+. None of those kids ended up winning nobel prizes or advancing science. The two rejects did.

Also Feynman had a sub 130 IQ.

True, but someone born with 115 IQ that works hard (and their "IQ" will increase as they do so) will always beat a 140 IQ who doesn't do shit.

Maybe you can do something less difficult. Biology or CS for example.

This is complete bullshit. Einstein and Feynman were both naturally gifted and they had a strong passion for physics to begin with.

The degrees, sure, but if he wants to do serious research (PhDs) he's equally fucked.

Well with that attitude don't expect to achieve anything in life. The more you sulk and bitch, the more you actually convince yourself that you can't do anything.

Not everyone is meant to win a nobel prize or a fields medal, but how do you know you're not meant for it if you haven't actually tried?

>> No.7965526

What is complete bullshit? Feynman has a sub 130 IQ according to himself in his own biography.

The world is not as it seems. A fair share of what is presented for you through media is to toy with your emotions. Maybe make you doubt your skills, feel despair or make you desperate to claim revenge.

>The counter-example which proves the rule.

Sounds illogical at first, but think about it. Really. Think about that line.

Scored 156+ IQ on a proper test administered by a psychologist, skipped some grades and am now studying physics at a global top 10 uni without any real effort.

Feels good man

Physical proximity is a factor of course, and so are costs. I'm not too worried about where in the top 10 I do my undergrad, will go to the best in the field for my graduate studies though

Feynman was obviously a very clever guy but his gift was physical insight, not raw IQ. He said it himself, he was given a test and only got 125, I don't see how you can debate that.

What can I achieve with an IQ of 123?
