Marines and ICs go in the land raider. Extra metal box floats around and does whatever. Moving the havoc launcher to the metal box instead of the big metal box might prove better? Will test and see. Alternatively, I could dro the havoc launcher for a powerfist on the champion, but idk if that is worth it over a power weapon unless the squad switches from slaanesh to khorne.

because 40 attacks on the charge is terrifying, but mainly because I don't have cultists and apparently they are too hard for a stupid person like me to buy.

I don't have any dinobots and I was trying to avoid buying any dragons or dinobots because I am poor. Are dinobots really that much better than predators?

I do have two land raiders, a ton of berserkers (why am I not fielding these? idk...), and lots of old SM bikes I could strip and then convert. Also a khorne lord model with a big axe and a jump pack from back when it was possible for a lord to get 18 attacks that ignored armor on a charge.

Vrosh Tattersoul is a 65 pts HQ choice for chaos space marines that is a character. His model looks Awesome and if you do not own it already, get it. Srsly. Even the base looks awesome. Buy it even if you play tau, dark eldar, whatever. Go GW advertiserment.

His background however is kinda meh. Really, he welcomed the voices in his head, and they describe the model (which is on a large picture just to the left). Oh and he apparently left dark angwl corpses so mutilated that apothecaries couln't extract gene-seed.

His stats are as follows:

Essentially, a 2 wound aspiring champion.

He is equiped with power armour, a combi-melta, a power axe, a ccw, frag grenades, and krak grenades.

Special rules include Independent character, Rage, and a variant of champion of chaos that makes him always gain 1 extra attack if he kills an enemy character in cqc instead of rolling on a table.

Can anyone recommend me ORK list for small games - either kill team or 500p.

I want to learn how to play (no experience after demo at GW), and have some clue how to expand my crew.

Your list seems a bit all over the place tbh, I really don't see the value of the Carnel Cohort instead of just more flesh hounds with Heralds, and your Chaos Marines really, really need a transport.

Are you just running with models you got, or do you have a bigger collection with stuff you can choose from?

Also, 2k points is a bit more than what most people play I think, maybe that's keeping people from replying.

Its a nice idea, what would the rest of the list look like? Boyz in trukks can be good if you spam them and give your opponent more armor then he can shoot at so if you can squeez two squads of trukkin' boyz in support to that battlewagon then I think you're alright for small games.

Yeah I'm basing my army around an evil sunz sort of theme and I'm making my army very mobile. I'm putting my boyz in trukks and using warbikers. I'm going to work my way up to 1500 points and I was thinking something along the lines of:

3x 10 boys in a trukk inc nob with bp and pk
10 warbikers riding with warboss on bike
10 burna boys in battlewagon with Big Mek

Yeah I've been in the hobby for almost 15 years now but it's been entirely spent painting/modelling. I never really cared for the game because when I first started I watched a game of fantasy Hordes of Chaos and declared it faggotry. space marines are solid. They are getting a new codex in a few weeks though which is rumored to be on par with the eldar codex in terms of power.

either way, they offer the most options of any army and can be fairly forgiving to new players because of the durability and versatility of their units

really though you should pick whichever army you feel most passionate about, be it because of models, lore, or another reason. It is a lot easier to keep at it if you are emotionally invested in your dudes.

The dominus can take the Eradication Ray instead of his volkite blaster, and swap his macrostubber for a phosphor serpenta in addition to taking items from special issue wargear and arcana mechanicum.

That being he can take one piece of Arcana Mechanicum, but you probably want Autocaduceus or Rainment if you are putting him with a squad, otherwise you want the Scryerskull of Perspicatus

There isn't much for him to take in special issue. He already has a Mechadendrite Harness, Basic scryerskull, and Refactor Field. Maybe take a conversion field if feeling the need, otherwise not really worth it.

In general this setup is pretty bleh, I can't say I advise using the War Convocation for anything lower than 1850. Otherwise you are just getting bare minimum plus taxes and no amount of free wargear is gonna make up for that.

Looks like a decent fun list, but from my experience with playing with Pask+Executioners, 2 of them is a bit overkill.

Yeah, definitely. Even if you lose a lot, you'll learn a lot more about tactics etc. by playing against solid players than always casuals. As long as the opponents are nice, that is, and try to teach you the game instead of just curbstomping you.

I have a Leman Russ Exterminator and I'm thinking of pairing it with another tank. Maybe with a tank commander. Hoping for a squad that can threaten vehicles/TEQs/MCs but that might be asking too much.

Idea would be:

Paired with:

Would upgrading the Vanquisher to Pask cost too much for what the squadron does? Does it already cost too much as it is? Is this mixing of weapons absurd?

I know Pask in a punisher is great, and I could totally throw him in there and split fire the other Russ. Rule of cool has me leaning on the vanquisher. The exterminator itself I already have, I modified it from a demolisher that I got a long time ago (Ordnance weapon + blast sponsons = no)

If you can, one of the best mixes are paskisher alongside one or two plasma tanks. Main gun + sponsons = 5 plasma blasts per tank per round. Pask gives Old Grudges, rerolls ones to hit = a lot less gets hot! Rolls to pass/fail.

For the 135 for that cannoness you could get celestine. Lets be honest, that cannoness is 135 points of T3, 3W, 3+/4++ with eternal warrior, who is never going to get the opportunity to fight.

You could take Jacobus in one of the dom squads, and save 35 points to up the dom immo's to repressors; drop the combi plas on superior.

My dom squad loadout is usually:
4x Meltagun, CombiMelta, VSS, Meltabombs, Immo w/ Laud Hailer, Dozer Blade, or a Repressor. Comes to 205 but it's a guaranteed AoF and with the Repressor you won't have to get out of the vehicle to shred things.

Huron rolls d3 (minimum of 1) so the huge marine squad will always be able to infiltrate and maybe a cultist squad, or both. Or the ICs can band together to form a unit (pg166 or small form rules) and infiltrate, but I don't immediately see a use case where that can succeed.
