Finally go around to playing Wolfstone to see how it is. Turns out they removed all the swastikas from the maps because the game takes place in a resistance base instead of a Nazi castle. In some cases, the maps were replaced from the ground up because they were made out of nothing but swastikas. Like Map53.

Wolfstone 3D was okay, but it could’ve been a lot better than what it really was. I did like that it accurately emulated how crispy the original Wolfenstein 3D, the idea of playing as Hans Grösse fighting through American, Russian, and British soldiers, and how they had to change some of the maps’ structure to remove swastika from them, since it wouldn’t make sense for there to be symbols of nazis in a resistance castle, but that’s about all I like. I just wish they could’ve added more, like the Spear of Destiny missions, 1st & 2nd Encounter/Original Encounter from the Mac and Jaguar ports, or even the Rocket Launcher and Flamethrower.
