I just don't get it. Why did they decide to release this in 2002 when the PS2 had already been out for nearly two years and the PS1 clearly could not run this game properly? I mean who in 2002 wanted to play a FPS game that dipped below 5 frames per second every time you fought an enemy?

These are the most-aesthetically pleasing games I can think of.

If you're looking for a game that pushed the PSX to its limits from a technical perspective you might check out pic-related though.
