Yeah, for a Famicom game, I didn't expect the errors to be fully descriptive (hell, you barely get that with modern compilers and interpreted languages), but at least your program dies gracefully instead of like in my picture where your computer locks up and you have to examine traces to find out what went wrong.

Your idea sounds fine. It would be interesting to here how it goes.

Hmm, you say that it errors around byte 68? That's suspiciously close to 64 = 2^6. It could be that the pin on the cart that maps to the 7th address pin on the SRAM has a dirty connection. Did you clean your cart?

Morning update. I am finishing up the Move program, but ran out of time, however I ended up with a cool bug. I'll finish Move this evening and implement the idle, walk, and jump states.
