This thread serves as a tribute to one of the most talented video game developers in history (as well as one of the coolest guys ever). John's work on DOOM and Quake are legendary, and did I mention he's also a super down to earth, chill dude on top of it all?

What retro era FPS games (2007 and earlier) do you recommend?

About to try to play through this for the 4th time. Every time I try I give up because I get lost and bored. How can I avoid getting lost without looking up walkthroughs?

at the end you have to go into a bunker filled with enemies and your cheats get turned off but you can reactivate them by putting in the code every second. me and my bro tried but could never do it.
