My 8bitdo m30 just arrived and the pad is really comfy

Question about this fucking thing. If I get the receiver for the NES will it work on that system too? I'd like to use it on as many consoles as possible.

Is it bad?

I'm looking for the best, or close to best gamepad for 2D titles. I already have several gamepads that do just fine on the 3D and modern department (the dualshock 1 and 3 and a 360 controller), but I am not that satisfied with em when it comes to 2D games and classic fighting games. I've been always more of a gamepad than arcade stick guy as well. However it's been maybe 15 years since I used a round d-pad like these, it being the genesis rather than any of the saturn models. I also had a cheap logitech gamepad with no analogs that was quite responsive and had a smaller round d-pad that worked pretty good, but that's in the past.

I've seen that people over here are not often pleased with any companies that do these. Any other recommendations that won't break the bank if this is not exactly up there?
