Nearly all SW games appear crap tier when compared to the PC space combat sims, and pic related is the king of that mountain.

I grew up on the X-Wing & TIE-Fighter games, and compared to those I found Rogue Squadron to be quite disappointing.

X-Wing, TIE-Fighter, and X-Wing Alliance are must-plays.

Rogue Squadron is dogshit compared to the X-Wing & TIE-Fighter games.

What are the best SW games to play for that old-school Star Wars lore feel?

I busted out the flight stick and picked up a game I've been wanting for a long time. Why is TIE Fighter such an amazing game?

Nothing is more GOAT than TIE-FIghter.
X-Wing and X-Wing Alliance are also strongly recommended.

Jedi Knight is good, but even it must make way for the true king of Star Wars games.

Holy cow, this game is fun.
I like it more than Wings Commander III.
