I prefer versus, and I suck at both.
Some day I will beat the Puyo Puyo 2 arcade mode.
I beat pic related a couple times.

Baku Baku.
Sega released a 8-bit version on SMS and GG (and for some reason, this version was the one ported to Windows PC), but the Saturn version is the only one that's like the arcade.
Good game, can get pretty crazy.

Baku Baku, also super fun puzzle game that's somewhat underrated

Anyone played Baku Baku Animal? I got to beat the game once, hard as shit against the CPU.

I was also pretty good at Puyo Puyo, but last time I tried to play, the CPU handed my ass to me on stage 2, shameful.

I second this game, also known as Cameltry in Japan.
It's great, truly addictive, I completed it 100%, I think there are more than 100 stages.

I also reccommend Baku Baku (or Baku Baku Animal), it's a nice puzzle by Sega where you have to match the animals with their foods, fairly challenging.
