That's something I've noticed as well.Disney SW fans who defended it non-stop didn't care for what the franchise had to offer and didn't like their characters either,they defended their shit writing just because is disliked by long time fans.

Doom fans on social media who know about other "boomer shooters" and played them won't play what it has to offer. Take Blood which had a spark in popularity,most of them don't even know or care about stuff like French Meat or Deathwish,they will just spam the memes making them obnoxious.
Or even repeat Ranger's HUH jokes at nauseam but don't care about stuff like Arcane Dimensions.
As other anons said,they're posers,that's also one of the reasons why I stopped following accounts like doom.txt.

Back then I preferred Doom Incarnate over Kriegsland but now it's pretty much the opposite.
Kriegsland is kinda janky but it doesn't feel cluttered or messy like DI.
Plus its particles don't tank the framerate
