I found a more proper way too, open default.xex in hex editor, search for
>40 9A 01 9C 38 60 00 4E
change to
>60 00 00 00 38 60 00 4E
Should disable the vaseline-o-vision without needing to swap files, hopefully models will work better with it.
If you still want the vaseline you can enable it in debug menu, it might be in cheat menu too

(if you cant find that hex in the default.xex grab xextool and run it like "xextool -eu -cu default.xex")
