I play on all default settings. I still often get stuck in the noob trap of going back and forth from the lighthouse instead of doing a full loop.

One thing that really annoys me about Crazy Taxi 1's scoring is that runs with the default arcade settings of 50 seconds, timer difficulty 4 and traffic difficulty 4 are counted the same as some chump who puts the timer to max and the difficulty settings to minimum. I only play on default settings because otherwise the game is too easy.

Dreamcast version set to default settings. So many people set things to easy mode and play for four hours straight. Where is the fun in that? I wish the game differentiated the scores based on these settings.
