Playing this for the first game, just getting into it.

There's the key (END by default) that allows you to inspect the area and see which sectors the merc you've chosen can see currently to give a clearer idea about the field of view. However when I press it sometimes my merc will instead start moving in the direction I'm pointing, wasting all his AP.

Any JA2 wizards out there who might know what's causing this odd behavior?
