Jesus christ this game is so good. It just has so much fucking personality. The music, the sprite work, tons of alternate paths, all of the little details. It oozes style and passion

This is one of the few "japanese holy grails" that were hyped up to fuck back in the day that actually lived up to the hype

I recently got into the series despite having the games for about 20 years now

I am almost at the end of Rondo and have played bloodlines and dracula X

Are the nes castlevania's worth playing? Im getting that the first is the same as the 4th for snes.

I hear they remade it for ps1 as well. Which is the definitive version

Can't believe I waited until 2021-2022 to get into castlevania. Man is it a trip

Of all the castlevanias this is the one I can't bring myself to complete, and I have no idea why. I've beaten all the nes, genesis, and snes ones, hell even the gameboy ones, but I just can't stand RoB. Anyone else feel that way?
