Being poor, we had to sell everything before buying a new thing.
So the only old obscure platform I have is a purple see-through gameboy colour.

states that the max Vin for a Game Boy Color is 5.20V (thru the DC Adapter) and the minimum is 1.80V.
USB, I believe, provides 5V of power. Could I just rig up a 2.35mm x 0.75mm connector to a USB plug and power the GBC through USB without damaging any components?

Being able to see this screen. I could usually see it in moderate light and the reading light near my bed made it comfortable to play on longer. I never had the DMG with the green screen but people say the same thing about the other Gameboys until the SP.

From what I've gathered, some people love them, most people here hate them. In either case, they aren't going anywhere, so in the mean time, why can't I find a website that duely notes all the carry-overs and the changes therein? Not even a Wikia? Am I just blind?
