Is it worth doing this guy's hitman quests? I know it causes you to lose karma, but I'm not sure how important that is. I currently have 25 karma.

>> No.5217746

Yeah, it's pretty good. Karma doesn't really matter unless you tip to one of the extreme, and you're going to need to go on a serious child murder spree to get real bad karma

P.S: If you don't have 9-10 Agility, restart the game now and put all your points into Agility & Intelligence. You'll thank me later

Yeah, I have Agility and Intelligence at 9. Didn't go 10 because I think I read something about being able to upgrade each stat by one?

yes, you can

Can I do his jobs and then turn him to the police, or do I have to turn him into the police before completing his jobs?

well I wasn't planning on admitting guilt

Yes, the most profitable route is to do his jobs (he has two for you) and then turn him in. Most XP, most cash, just have to pass a Speech check so you aren't accused yourself.

>playing the game with a guide that tells you to put max points to Agility and Intelligence

What is even the point? Half of the fun is creating your own character and experiencing the game that way instead of going full easy mode. You people are the worst.

in this case I'm going to say that half the fun actually isn't very much to the point that anything that even saves you a little bit of time is actually an advantage.

I've had Fallout for probably at least 18 years now, and I have never finished it because I'm stupid and kept making shitty characters. I'm occasionally referring to guides, and asking questions here if I don't find my answers, in order to actually beat the game for once in my life. I'm still doing a lot of it without help, but sometimes I want to find out if my ideas are retarded before I commit to them.

Man fallout 2 is such a fucking chore went in expecting fo1 but better and it's such a fucking slug. Enemy placement is so fucking tedious and unfair it's just ridiculous. Rnadom encounters are a pain in the ass and even when you get past the horrible early game, and through the decent and sometimes fun mid game, the old mariposa base and the vertibird helipad are such fucking chores my fucking god this game is not horrible, but it's absolute trash compared to fo1

>half of the fun
and then anon learns the harsh truth that most other stats are completely useless due to bad design, and so are most skills, and is then endlessly made fun of
