Am I fucking crazy? I have been using my original SP since they came out. I very recently "upgraded" to a 101... but am I just crazy here it looks like fucking shit when its running a game?

I boot up my emerald super exicted to play on a brighter screen and I noticed right away there is some lag? or something I can't really describe it but everything just looks way different and way worse when you're moving around. It's totally fucking with my eyes.

Did I get a bad system or is this just a thing with these? Super sad.

It's all subjective anon. I used to own a DSi XL, most of which come with an IPS screen. A lot of people prefer these displays as you can see individual pixels and it's super crisp, but myself I found that while it's cool for emulated titles of older systems, a lot of DS games actually benefit from a smaller screen and a bit of blurriness. Ended up switching to a DS Lite.

Idk what you mean by lag but mine did have some blur that's not seen on a ds lite
Mine started developing a red tint around the screen so I replaced it with a new one. It's 2x the resolution so it almost looks *too* sharp, but it works and doesn't blur so I'm happy with it.
