Yeah I am a collector. I have a lot of stuff now. Too much to write all. As far as NES goes I have 300 something now.

Dad was always good to me. Even though he doesn't really care anymore, i love him.

Actually Gradius is easier if you take lesspower ups because of the rank system. The game actually punishes you for playing it

My Grandmother has a ColecoVision with the Atari module in her house, under the TV. She can't play it anymore (arthritis, etc), but apparently her favorite game back in the day was Zaxxon. Once in a while when I'm at her house I'll make sure it still works, clean it off a bit, etc. She's also got a GameBoy Pocket with BurgerTime, Dr. Mario, Pac-Man, Q-Bert, and some other games.

Thought of another one.

>Mother bought a 2600 when they were new because she played one at a friends house and it was "fun"
>I'm born in 90
Fast forward to 97
>Friends all getting into video games
>Atari just sits under the TV, she barely used it after she bought it
>"Mom, can we play Atari?"
>"No, because I'm not hooking it up to the TV. It's too much work"
>For years I stare at it, wishing I could play it
>Had an Uncle who worked at Parker Brothers during the Atari era so we had some games like Empire Strikes Back still sealed in the box
>Start reading all the manuals
>Memorize everything about the games. The enemies, the objectives, the scoring system, etc
>Fast forward to 2000
>Save up $5 a week to get a PS1
>Finally my first non handheld console!
>Dad goes to hook it up to the TV
>"What's this wire?"
>Follows it
>It's the 2600
>It was hooked to the TV all these years
>I literally could have played it at anytime
I was pretty damn pissed. I don't think I've ever been more disappointed/mad at my parents ever since.
