Did you know Sorcerian had a manga adaptation? I suppose it was nearing completion or already done by this point, but Christmas shoppers could still mail-order them.

For these ads I don't know; it was most likely a fold-out brochure whose individual pages were laid flat (maybe snipped beforehand) and scanned. Falcom usually advertised via brochures and in-store displays/flyers.

This one's the final page, listing some JDK albums you could buy.

There's one at the Pinball Hall of Fame in Vegas, it's a decent table but doesn't take full advantage of the license -- really misses an opportunity to have the Mario sounds for bumpers, ramps, etc.

I played a mario pinball machine as a kid at the arcade where my family used to go to the beach. The machine was rather simple compared to the bally machines of the same time. Fun especially since i could play a decent while compared to my usual play time since it was a simple cab.

>> No.2611724

when I was a kid on post I would see these stand-ups in the back of the PX in the POWER ZONE (the part of the store where they kept all the electronics), with some kid playing a transparent purple game boy

it's stuck out in my head as long as i can remember becaues the kid just looked like he was enjoying himself, he wasn't incredibly blown away like you'd see in literally every other ad

bumping what should be a good thread with a pointless story
