For these ads I don't know; it was most likely a fold-out brochure whose individual pages were laid flat (maybe snipped beforehand) and scanned. Falcom usually advertised via brochures and in-store displays/flyers.

This one's the final page, listing some JDK albums you could buy.

when I was a kid on post I would see these stand-ups in the back of the PX in the POWER ZONE (the part of the store where they kept all the electronics), with some kid playing a transparent purple game boy

it's stuck out in my head as long as i can remember becaues the kid just looked like he was enjoying himself, he wasn't incredibly blown away like you'd see in literally every other ad
