You might try closing explorer.exe. I was trying to play Red Alert (or was it Tiberian Sun?) on Win 7 and it was having minor graphical glitches. Closing explorer.exe fixed that.

Better batch instructions, so explorer is opened up again after SC runs.

you should change the "Starcraft.exe" to wherever you installed the starcraft game if you didn't put the batch file in the same directory as the EXE.

Check for a patch. AOE2 has the same exact problem, the game doesnt run properly in anything post Windows Vista and the colours are all messed up. Closing explorer.exe is just a half-assed solution. Theres plenty of fixes out there to play the game. What bothers me is why there isnt a HD patch yet.
