Only thing I can remember vaguely about playing the game was that I think I was jumping around mountains, I think. Not sure how related it could've been to the song.

Living in Scandinavia it must've been EU version of a game though.

fuuuck I had this experience. I played the shit out of the Sonic3&kuckles collection as a kid and loved the music

it's always bothered me since to hear Knuckles' theme since it's never quite what I burned into my brain as a child. Wish I knew what sound card I had back then
