Just picked up a Dreamcast with blue controller, memory card, complete copies of Shenmue, Jet Grind Radio,Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver. Also came with 150 + Genesis games on a burnt CD. How much should I have paid? No memes

>> No.4317448

Probably somewhere from $60-80

>> No.4317449

Idk, 100 dollars to 150 sounds reasonable. Don't factor the genesis games into the price because anyone can burn them onto a disk.

Also, unrelated, but good luck trying to play them with the awful controller.

>> No.4317456

if you paid more than $100 you got burned

>> No.4317463

Should be among the cheapest consoles on the aftermarket. They were giving them away with one month internet subscriptions back in the day.

Regardless you owe it to yourself to get Seaman now.

>> No.4317475

OP here. Paid $80 and here in Canada, if you want to get it at a store, you have to pay $100 for JUST the console w/ controller (possibly memory card as well).

>>4317463
Yup. Is the mic for it hard to find?

>> No.4317481

How much would I have paid? Maybe $20 for a DC, $5 for Shenmue if complete means slip cover too. Jet Grind Radio $3, Soul Reaver $5.

How much should you have paid? Assuming you're some dude just wanting to get right into Dreamcast and I liked you enough to sell you that stuff right out of my collection I'd probably charge you maybe $100 and feel like I was hooking you up decently. Maybe even $80 if you haggled. Shenmue is going up in value last I checked but I have five copies. I probably wouldn't have payed with my one US slipcase though.

If you just bought it from a shop I'm sure you paid $150ish on the high side. They gotta cover their overhead. Will probably come to be worth that before you get tired of it. If you paid much more than that you got bled a bit.

I doubt it. Should be as many out there as there are copies of Seaman.

Oh nice. It might be easier to get the mic with Alien Front. Seaman is meme taxed.

>> No.4317573

depending on the condition, price goes from 100 to 2000

This is worth at least 250$ retail or off eBay OP. 80$ is a great deal.

Also I'm Canadian as well. How the hell did you get a deal like this? I paid out the ass for my collection and I still am

Dude are you from the year 2005? These games are worth so much more now. Shenmue goes for at least 80$ complete now.

I paid $20 for mine in mostly-working order a couple years ago, with one VMU and two rumble packs tossed in but no games. Currently playing through Skies of Arcadia on it.

You should just emulate on PC.

I got DC with cables and a controller for $20. I'm burning games until I get my hands on a proper GDROM replacement.
