If nothing says "early 90s" like MC Hammer, then nothing says "mid 90s" like shitty Sega CD games. How wonderful the two could come together, then, in Hammer vs. Evil D. in Soulfire, a game that looked as awful as it sounded.

It was never released, sadly/thankfully, and before you go making jokes about developers GTE, know they did some cool stuff with Sega (like the pioneering 3D title Time Traveler) and made some decent PC games as well (like Timelapse).

I bought it because it was the only used game at GameStop I hadn't played. I thought it was an areana custom robo fighter. I bought thinking meh I won't be too bored... over 40 levels of an adventure later I replayed the campaign on nuts of steel difficulty. This was back when I was a dumb kid and I always picked easy because why die? Changed the way I looked at difficulty modes. Felt like a completely different play through, I had to use every weapon strategically. Being a few checkpoints in a level with low ammo on guns I barely used made me very creative. >slow down DOSbox emulation
In the config file (dosbox-0.74.conf in the latest version)
change the line
cycles=max (or it might say cycles=auto)
to a fixed number like
cycles=fixed 5000
or whatever, it depends how slow you want it
some real early games need fixed 1000

Home Alone for the NES is very underrated. It's not the run through the level and shoot people one. This one is where you have to set traps and stay alive in your house long enough for the police to come.

She was super gorgeous back then, but to be honest, I felt like that was part of the problem. With a character like Kelly Bundy, you had someone who was beautiful but stupid. Cox' character was beautiful, highly intelligent, sociable and (in-show) popular. She turned into a very annoying character after a while because there were no funny flaws about her, other than her occasionally rampant perfectionism.
