I'm not saying that it's a cool or good product, I'm saying that I think the value of these is going to crater.

I really feel bad for all the flippers that bought crateloads of these

You feel bad for them? Why? If they wanted to make money they should buy stocks or something instead of trying to flip plastic shit for children.

I feel your sentiment but I doubt those NES and SNES Classics are going to fall down in demand that quickly. I'd give it another year or two.

They probably made pretty good bank off the first wave of them. But yeah, anyone that bought em up after the second release is gonna have fun moving them all. It's strange seeing them readily available in stores now.

All I want is a controller and those are still impossible to find by themselves.

Is that legit or one of those Chinese bootlegs? why did they drop so much in price? i remember seeing them going for 200 on my local Craigs and OfferUp and people actually bought them.

Hope scalpers got fucked.

Bestbuy is bringing in about 24 per week now. They are still selling out locally by the weekend but soon all the demand will be met.

I bought two in a span of two weeks after the re-release with the help of https://www.nowinstock.net/videogaming/accessories/nesclassicaccessories/

apparently they are easier to find in actual stores than online so you could try that too

OH! I gotcha. I can't care less, but $35 is well worth 2 controllers. I may buy one locally if I see one cheap....same with the snes one.

Did they start making these again or did the fire for them burn out?

Yeah I don't understand why some resellers keep asking over 100 USD for (S)NES Classic used if they can get those with some accessories included for less than that in any major electronics retail store. Are they too stupid to do some research or are they so desperate they hope those things will become "very valuable" again?

>Game / console is high demand and expensive
>demand drops prices bottom out
>years go by
>price starts climbing again until its worth more than its originally

Why does this happen? I guarantee you in 10 years these will be worth a couple hundred

Scarcety. Everybody wanted one but the three Nintendo actually shipped were gone immediately. Created a huge pull which led scalpers reselling these at huge profit. Now the inital hype has burned out and Nintendo is now providing enough stock to satisfy demand, which pushed down the pricing, why would someone buy it overpriced if they can now get it for retail price in the shop? And if it is used the value now as normally with used items is even lower, other than back then, where used or not- WHO CARES? Just getting one in the FIRST PLACE!

Its funny cus on Craigslist/ebay people sell used shit at the new MSRP price.
No,dude as soon as you open it or take the plastic off it loses 15% of its value even if you never even use it. I hate these people
