I have to draw an event poster related to the Genesis/Megadrive

I'm planning on drawing between 5 o 6 characters, but there's so many to choose from...

What would you say are the most charismatic Genesis characters?

I'd say go with 4 or 5 really iconic Genesis characters like Sonic, Ristar, Vectorman, whoever else, and then a less popular character to show that this event is for legit fans, like Max from Shining Force or Alys from Phantasy Star IV. Take off every zig for great justice, too.
