If people did their research there, they would have known it was originally made as "Tavern RPG". Namely, a fanmade game for the genesis made by and FOR members of the eidilon(sp?) inn modding community. That's it. Then suddenly they realized they could try and milk money out of it, and started throwing shit into it while hyping it everywhere they could as the "first game for the Sega Genesis in years!"

Not /vr/, but you see the same thing happening with Hopoo. Made game in GM, even kickstarted it to the tune of $30,000 promising to polish everything, then left the game in a broken state after 2 years, and is now hyping up his new game. And people are expressing interest in buying it. People just don't learn.
