I'm not that familiar with the GB/GBC library. Aside form Pokémon, what are some must play games? Plus, how does it handle on the 3DS' VC?

R-type for Game Boy is probably the best version because it's not harder than fuck, stays truer to the original than the Turbo Graphix 1 and doesn't look cutsey/goofy like the DX version.

Wait really? I bought a yellow GBC from some dude in town for $10 and he gave me Philosophers Stone, Chamber of Secrets, and Dragon Warrior I + II as a bonus. Harry Potter is solid but I always just assume video game adaptations of movies are garbage.

It is one of the best, but it's simple and nice to spend time, liked the music too. Other gb / gbc harvest moon is said to be better, but I like this one.

They're fairly solid RPGs (at least Sorcerer's Stone is, I presume the sequel is also turn based). I had a lot of fun with them as a kid, even at the time I was surprised at how well they were made considering that it was a Harry Potter movie tie in. Pretty comfy, great music iirc
