I really like the first, even if it's honestly not that good. It was my favorite game as a teenager and I love the environment design, music and 90's horror mood.
The puzzles are mostly just OK.

Never played the second one, I should get around to it someday.

Yeah, it's kind of unique, has that buildup in game, as it slowly transitions as you get up the stairs. It's really neat.

I played them a few years ago for the first time. I had a dream that I had someone found an alternate path in the first game about trying to track down the three Ixupi that had escaped.
