Hey guys, so My fiancee knows that I like old ass video games. She got me a Sega Dreamcast with a memory card and 2 games for my birthday.

One game is a Crazy Taxi 2 reproduction Disk. The other is an original Sonic Adventure disk. The reproduction works perfectly, but the SA disk only loads up to the game menu.

I mean, I guess my main problem is that I’ve always been a bit of a pretentious purist. I dont want to just burn a game ROM onto a CD.

Should I just buy another SA Disk and hope the new one works, or just return the Dreamcast and hope that fixes it?

It may be possible to resurface the disc (not disk). If that doesn't work, you can get a repro delivered for ~$10

since you already put windex on it make sure you got it all off and if you got one of those eye glass cleaner sheets, the best you can do is take off finger printing scuffs and stuff but scratch's gotta come off with a machine
