Thread of fate has the best fucking look of characters, I always get games like that.

>Treads of Fate
>Musashi
>Zwei 2!!
>Shining Force 3
>Nayuta no Kiseki
>Rockman Dash
I'm blanking on a bunch but you named most already in the thread

It wasn't popular, but I also like the super deformed CG things like Ys and Kiseki games.

is there a way to mod the playstation to run off a hard drive myself or do you need an ODE or some chinese shit for that

Like how you can solder an IDE cable directly to a Dreamcast and have it work, can you do that with a playstation?

>> No.8065000

>>8064991
Do the HDD stuff with the fat PS2. It's so much easier. Most of the import community did that back in those days.

I think he means that to replace the GD-ROM drive with an ODE, it's as simple as unplugging and plugging a ribbon cable. You don't need to solder anything.

More extensive mods do require a bit of soldering, though. Like the DCHDMI mod.

fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuukkkkkkkkkk I totally forgot about gurumin! I'm >>8064982 and I ordered Zwei 2 from Japan after I saw the screenshots in the booklet Ys 7 came in. I cherish it, and Nayuta deeply, but sadly Gurumin came before my time so I didn't get when they were releasing it in the full version. I have the Nayuta LE too!

sweet deal, but you know Zwei II can be bought on Steam, yeah? Under the name Zweii: The Ilvard Insurrection. The first game's on there two but that ones strictly 2D.

Yeah I have PSP of Zwei I, it's not nearly as good as too, but has some very nice artwork and music. I bought it steam for shits and giggles but never beat it. Funny story, I have the steam version of Zwei 2+ but I only beat it once where as I beat the JP version 3 times. Ionno why, maybe because Yukana is the voice of altines and she purposefully talks in a sexy voice in all her roles.

To my knowledge there are no solder free ODEs for PlayStation. I’ve done the mod necessary for PSIO and it’s really easy. That being said, PSIO is lagging in features at the moment compared to the XStation, but you also don’t have to replace your optical drive at all with the PSIO.

Just check which model psx you have and check the xStation/psio sites to see if your model is compatible.

Because it's been completely retconneced for Zwei 2+ !! you dingaling. They added New Game + and Costumes for + and updated it for quad core machines and now updated it for win 10 more graphical options. There's no reason to just get the original Zwei 2, if it can even work on your machine. Like this guy did, >>8065567
