Anyone ever have one of these? I remember a kid on my but letting me borrow it. its like a gameshark but with a gui. you could set manual item quanities in pokemon and give yourself any pokemon you want. But ive never seen one since then and nobody really talks about it

I remember mega memory cards getting advertised in Nintendo Power. Definitely from before their refresh, however, as the newer style of the magazine was never going to do anything to hurt company profits. Old NP didn't give a fuck.

I got one a few years ago to use for backing up save data
Also the ability to force a GB/GBC dual-compatible cart to go monochrome on a GBC or GBA is amusing

Imagine not owning a phone. Pathetic.

I still have mine floating around somewhere.
I remember using it to get everyone in my neighborhood a Mew because nobody could go to the event. I also think I managed to give myself the GS Ball in Crystal at some point and access the Celebi event despite it never being available outside of Japan, but I could be misremembering.

That weird password system nobody could figure out still baffles me. And to the best of my knowledge, there's no database of passwords online.

I had one, it was cool. Shows how big Pokémon was. It was called something to do with pelicans?

I would use mine to make the dumbest Pokémon, like a magic carp that knows flamethrower and thunder

>> No.8185687

I had it. I bought every dumb accessory for the GBC. I had this and a similar thing made for backing up saves. I had the FM radio addon, went through multiple gamesharks, I had the addon with a modem that let you send emails, if it was an accessory and for GBC and I could find it I bought it.

Yeah I did shit like that too. My idea of the funniest thing ever was battling kids with the link cable and pulling off shit like that.

Pelican was the company that made it, it's molded into the plastic of the one in OP too.
They were the ones who did those Codebreaker Gameshark clones and a bunch of 3rd party accessories. I think they were a GameStop in-store brand.
