How do I cope with the fact that my oshi is not, in fact, my wife

IRyStocrats, I'm sorry to tell you this, but IRyS will no longer be streaming. You see, I've married her, and as part of that marriage contract, she's going to be stuck in a wack-ass crystal prison for the next hundred years.

Essentially asking if some heavy handed creative liberty with some of the characters is agreeable. Some that may not exist within the thread or game. To be clear, I have no set direction just yet. Just wondering what the audience is interested in.

I enjoyed the change of pace and perspective in the piece you wrote. Honestly I was looking forward to seeing how it developed, and I still think it would make for a good companion to the other pieces. Not that I'm trying to force you to continue, but I cannot be the only one still interested in how it may play out.

It's worth noting that, in the context of this place, IRyStocrats don't have the same "easy history" of fanbase formation compared to EN1 or EN2, or any of the other gens, really.
Her one-woman debut, along with the powerful model filter that set the stage early on, meant that instead of there being a strong fanbase built-in, week one, to base their "culture" on, this place's crop of fans essentially developed independently from each other for the first month or two, before the model filter started to break and people by and large started realizing she was pretty good.
Whereas people like deadbeats, or teamates, or most others, really, can more or less blend into each other easily enough, and follow a small collective impulse, the first half-dozen or so IRyStocrats here basically all thought they were the only one, but for real this time, for a good month or so, before a more standard fanbase developed in time.
So there's some camraderie there, in that they respect each other for being able to "see the truth" before the rest of the crowd did in time. But at the same time, there's intense rivalry when it comes to that side of things that isn't the same for other fanbases that can fall back on the easier collective.
TL;DR:
>most fanbases treat the competition as a Battle Royale, IRyStocrats treat it like fucking Highlanders

You could say this about so many of her karaoke's. There's been a lot of minor scuffs lately which I think is due to her having to learn or relearn so many new songs the day before/day of (over 120 unique songs I think btw!). That being said so many of her versions are so good they could pass for official covers if not for the shitty karaoke backing track.

I had not heard of Hololive or really even paid attention to Vtubers until December. I started watching whoever was on, Ina when I got home from work, into Ame and Gura. Sometimes Kiara and Mori if I was off or it was a weekend due to time issues. I would usually just have them on a second monitor while I was doing something else. I never really got the whole oshi thing, it was just like watching a TV show to me. If I missed a stream it was whatever, I didn't really go looking to watch VODs unless there was no one streaming live.

IRyS debuted and all of a sudden I'm staying up late to watch her, even if her stream leaves me getting only an hour of sleep before work or something. If she's on during JP primetime (when I'm at work) I'll bring her stream up on my phone and watch what I can. I truly didn't get the oshi and gosling shit, but somehow she infected my brain, its crazy.

I'm kinda hoping the delay was so she could learn more songs so she can keep her no repeat streak alive. I know it has to end sometime but I have hope!

yeah IMO the design is fine, it looks good when other artists draw her and in a good amount of fan art, but redjuice style crash with everything, I doubt a new costume will help since redjuice will likely design it in a similar fashion
