Unfortunately for you and me, no amount of lifting has as much value to women as this kind of social network and status within that network. To them, we're just "random /fit/ guy #2903", simply a member of the disposable sex that happens to take slightly better care of themself than most do.

Realizing this is important to actually sticking with lifting and most valuable pursuits in general, because if you go in with the false expectation that it's gonna get you laid, you're gonna quit within the first year.
