I'm not their father, brother, manager, boyfriend, actual IRL friend, coworker, rival, or the producer they're selling their bodies to in exchange for funding and equipment. Neither are most of the people watching any given vtuber.

This isn't Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, Discord or any other identity based social media platform where people do actually go because they care about the other people on that platform. It's also not a crowd funding platform where people go to throw money around for tax deductions or to make themselves feel like better people.

The anons on 4chan are a loose collection of randos from various boards and cultures all shitposting here for the sake of amusement. None of it is meant to be a serious, accurate Encyclopedia of all things that happen regarding vtubers. There's actually a fan wiki or two which serve that purpose.

4chan is a place for memes both lighthearted and morbid, as well as a place where people shitpost to distract from whatever's going on in their lives, or to just organize around a specific general of which there are many on various boards that you're welcome to partake in.

And unlike places like lolcow or kiwifarms, there is no organized effort to harass specific people. /vt/ is a chaotic mass of shitting on whoever's most convenient to shit on at any given moment. If I was a well known vtuber, even I would be no exception to that rule. That's the nature of free flowing discourse.

Now if you don't have anything funny, witty, or informative to contribute, and all you want to do is complain about 4chan being 4chan, why are you even here? Maybe I'm off base and easily trolled, but the simplest explanation for your perspective is that you're a chuba with a decent following who could summon at least some shills just by going on Twitter or starting up a stream. If all you want is for people to sing your praises, I'd say that's a better way to go about making it happen than whining on /vt/ that anons aren't a bunch of pathetic, brain dead simps. Because of course /vt/ wouldn't be like that, else anons would be commenting on Twitter and YouTube just like all the other simps.

With that said, I think the dust has settled and we can write her off as Vshoujo. It's time to accept that she never fit in with Hololive, as her sense of humor was always too crass.
