The problem with Fauna's statement is that she is heavily parasocial herself and frequently encourages parasocial behavior from her saplings but when it is brought up as a topic of conversation she contradicts her own actions
Through her actions she makes it clear that she wants saplings to be emotionally attached to her but in her own words punishes them for even wanting to be friends
I think it would be understanble if she didn't want to be a pretend mommy gf for them but going so far as to say she wouldn't even be friends with them is painful
