I just added a few new things to the mutual funds - an autotrader, reduced volatility for fund transactions to /20, and a shareholders tab to see who owns the most shares of each fund. I also fixed the email, so if you were having trouble getting any emails, if should work now. I want to let you all know of some updates in the development process that we have encountered since getting a few more developers and helpers on the team. First, there are three main features that are currently the main priority to get out within the year: Options+Shorting, Seasons, and Mutual Funds. Our original plan was to get options and shorting out before the other two features as our main goal. However, we have decided to rethink some of the ways we have the system designed and so a significant overhaul of the code will need to be done, resulting in another unfortunate delay. In spite of this, with added brains to redo it from a better starting point, I believe the end product will not only be more fun and game-changing, it will also make development easier. It also allows me to also work on the other two features in tandem. I know it seems like options will never come out to the point it is almost comical how long it is taking, but trust me that we want it to live up to the hype and be as beneficial to the game as possible. We are in the process of writing a comprehensive spec on how the options will work which we will make available to you as soon as it is done. I will also share my overview on mutual funds and seasons for added feedback. To make it up to you, I decided to just go ahead and make a server side autotrader. Which is now live for you. Hard refresh to get the changes. Note you will have to redo your trader rules once you refresh. Having the auto-trader only be client side has caused a good number of you some headaches with missed trades/not being able to access your trader if you go away/etc. and so I hope this helps with your trading until we come out with some of the more exciting features. If you have questions on how the new trader works, please feel free to ask, but note that I did update the "how to" section that should answer most of your questions (hopefully). Thanks!

I've finally found some free time this past week which should remain for at least a month and I'm really trying to get as much done as possible in this timeframe. Unfortunately, as life goes, the schedules of the other developers on our team who are most familiar with the current system do not sync with mine, and so I am asking you now that if you have web development experience AND most importantly have some experience with real options and the stock market and could provide feedback and aid direction, please email me. Few small status updates on the balance issues that have been discussed lately, namely, the music channels' adjustment volatility and the Rushia/Civia pump. In terms of the pumps, we are expecting that with the planned features of options, shorting, and a new dividend formula, the player base will have new incentives to drive prices toward their fundamental values. While the ongoing pumps are purely player driven and in the spirit of the market, it can be seen as a stale and mindless strategy that defeats the purpose of the game. With these added mechanics, we hope the game will still be player driven but in a more strategic and fun way, since the ability for players to short coins down for reward will now be an attractive option, especially given the new dividend spread. As a way to mitigate the issue until these features are released, we will lower the volatility of Rushia and Civia to curb the rapid inflation of the market that this is causing. This means that the price changes that occur based on each transaction of these two coins will be much smaller than they are currently. This change will go into effect at 00:00ET May 5th (little over a day from now).
In regards to the music channels, we are currently discussing the best way to handle this. As you are aware, the Youtube API treats these channels differently which is a problem for our scraper which calculates the adjustments based on their stats. Therefore, we need to rework the way we handle the data in order to stabilize their adjustments. Updates on this discussion will follow as we settle in on a solution. Thank you

For those who want the betting pool archive data and know how to access the API, I've added two new endpoints: /getBettingHistory which returns a list of the general pool information of all past bets, and /getBettingUserResults which takes either ?poolid OR ?userid and returns the user winnings for the pool/user requested. I'll be making this data accessible on the site eventually but for now you can use this to see.

Just dropped a small update, including an option to post in the global chat anonymously, some new commemorative Valentines items for everyone, and an increase of the max auto-trader target to 999,999. I also fixed some things with how the direct messages were being sent, so you may need to refresh or else you may not receive the messages. Regardless, hard refresh to get the changes as always. I've just added the newest betting feature so that players can bet on Hololive special events as they come up. At the moment, only myself and other admins can create the actual betting pools as I see the use case at the moment only something that occurs for rare, big events, but I do plan to eventually add a way for players to get the ability to create their own pools for others to participate in. (And until then, I'll make pools suggested by players as they pop up).
The mechanics right now are a little shaky and might very well change in the future. I'm going to create a pool for the Pokemon tournament and we can use that as a test run. Right now, all bets go into a single pool and the people who bet on the winner get a proportion of the pool equal to the proportion that they contributed to the winning option. I'm not going to make any changes for this round but please let me know any suggestions on how to improve it for future pools.
